A lake, mountains and an area steeped in history: Maria – the current
owner - has transformed her grandfather Giuseppe’s traditional farming
estate and created the Farm holidays "Tenuta La Vita".
We are in Tuscia, the lake is Lake Vico, the mountains are the Cimini range
and the name of the estate derives from a little spring that gurgles in an
orchard of fruit trees, hazelnut trees and chestnut trees, in the middle of
a Nature Reserve.
For the past 15 years, the hazelnuts and the chestnuts from these trees have
been the key ingredient in the delicious pastries, cakes and desserts created
by the pastry maker at the Tenuta. They may be sampled in the restaurant "I
Sapori della Vita", which has a cosy open fireplace and elegant reception
and banquet rooms with a superb, adjoining gazebo. The "Tenuta La Vita" is
the ideal event venue, whether the event be a birthday party, a wedding reception
or a business convention.
Guest accommodation consists of ten bedrooms in the restored "Casale
del Nonno" and the old "Casa Padronale", both furnished with
antiques. What was once a barn is now a Spa, complete with a double jacuzzi
and a wellness centre where a range of beauty treatments and massages is available
and yoga, meditation and Tai Chi may be practised.
